Afrigetics was started in 2008 as an export-based business. Our company manufactures and trades indigenous botanical (herbal) extracts, retail herbal supplements and packaged foods from indigenous African botanical species. We have been building our business through Internet marketing and trade shows where we are establishing ourselves as a key supplier of these botanical ingredients. We are passionate about discovering, protecting and developing the botanical wisdom in Africa and finding ways to unlock the potential of this continent.

Current position:

Afrigetics is currently planning an expansion phase that will enable us to increase our sales to foreign buyers. This expansion involves improvements and investment in our out-sourced manufacturing facility through a joint-venture partnership agreement, employing new sales staff, streamlining our logistic processes, upgrading our quality control and quality assurance standards and attending key trade shows within our market. A significant part of our efforts will be directed to marketing through the Internet and establishing a group of customers who are eager to learn more about the top 10 commercially successful African botanical species that have entered the world market in recent years. Our aim is to educate people about the African success stories and establish ourselves as suppliers of these ingredients so that other businesses may reap the benefits of these successfully traded botanicals in their own business pursuits.
